Locality: | Tri-State Lead-Zinc Mining District, near Joplin, Jasper County, Missouri |
Description: | Translucent, red-brown sphalerite crystals up to 20 mm overgrown with .2 mm chalcopyrite crystals. All of the sphalerite crystals are notably translucent, but the smaller crystals show it best. No damage - unusual for this locality. |
