Mineral:Dioptase and Wulfenite on Willemite
Locality:Mammoth-St. Anthony Mine, Tiger, Pinal County, Arizona
Description:Spray of bright green dioptase crystals mixed with orange wulfenite crystals on sparkling matrix of willemite microcrystals (fluorescent under UV illumination). The dioptase is translucent and lustrous. The best crystals are in vugs where protected. Ex. Dr. Eugene E. Sensel (1911-2000) collection #R381; Ex. Schortmanns
