Locality:Monte Cristo Mine, Rush Creek District, Marion County, Arkansas
Description:Rhombic crystals of yellow smithsonite on galena matrix. They used think the yellow color was due to greenockite inclusions/coating. In 1996 Richardson, Falster, Simmons showed the coloring agent was CdCO3 (Otavite). Minor surface damage. Ex. J. Cilen (1916-1997) #2846
