Mineral:Barrerite and Laumontite on Quartz
Locality:Rocky Pass Area, Kuiu Island, Alaska
Description:Large crystals of white barrerite (rare zeolite) up to 20 mm long with thin, white laumontite crystals up to 10 mm. The crystals formed all around a curved stalactite of milky quartz. No damage. One of the best specimens found in recent years.
