Mineral:Fluorite (twinned crystals) with Siderite
Locality:Boltsburn Mine, Rookhope, County Durham, England
Description:Large twinned crystals of purple fluorite up to 7 cm with brown siderite crystals up to 5 mm. Fluoresces bright violet under UV illumination. Acquired ca. 1970. Some edges have minute chipping.
Overall Size:9x8x8 cm
Crystals:5-70 mm
