Locality:Blanchard Mine, Hansonburg District, 8.5 km south of Bingham, Socorro County, New Mexico
Description:Cubic crystal of purple fluorite 16 mm across completely overgrown with colorless quartz crystals up to 3 mm. The quartz overgrowth is highly lustrous, making the specimen quite sparkly. When illuminated from the side the purple color is evident.
