Description:Heavy specimen of dark-red cuprite with minor calcite. This specimen is entirely cuprite! When viewed under illumination the surface is seen to be many complex crystal faces and translucent where thinnest. Ex. Dr. Eugene E. Sensel (1911-2000) collection #M523; ex. Lester Barrer collection
