Locality:Shelby, Cleveland County, North Carolina
Description:Cluster of muscovite mica crystals up to 16 mm with red rutile crystals up to 7 mm long embedded on the surface of the muscovite. The rutile looks beautiful under magnification - translucent and lustrous.
