Mineral:Fluorite with Chalcopyrite
Locality:Denton Mine, Harris Creek District, Hardin County, Illinois
Description:Large red-purple fluorite crystals with yellow internal zones. Scattered throughout are 1-2 mm chalcopyrite crystals on the surface and included in the fluorite. The thin purple fluorite layer over the yellow makes the color very showy. Dinged.
