Locality:Owl Mine, Baxter Springs, Cherokee County, Kansas
Description:Cubic crystals of gray galena up to 7 mm with red to black crystals of sphalerite up to 6 mm. The sphalerite crystals are complexly twinned (spinel-law twin) resulting in striated appearance.
