Mineral:Millerite and Pyrite in Quartz Geode
Locality:US Route 27 road cut, Halls Gap, Lincoln County, Kentucky
Description:Hollow geode 24 mm across lined with small colorless quartz crystals to 1 mm and brassy hair-like millerite crystals to 6 mm and cubic pyrite microcrystals and an unidentified green mineral. Mounted in an acrylic display box for protection.
