Description: | Lustrous transparent blue-gray celestine (celestite) crystal with overgrowth of white gypsum. The celestine crystals grew in a dense layer resulting in terminations on one end, and crystallization patterns (contacts) on the sides and bottom. Ex. Phillip Greybill (1935-2018) collection; collected ca. 1980 |
