Locality: | Frazer's Hush Mine, Rookhope, Weardale, County Durham, England |
Description: | Cubic crystals of purple-gray fluorite up to 5 cm with partial coating of colorless quartz crystals up to 6 mm, with minor black sphalerite on one edge. The fluorite fluoresces violet under UV illumination. Slight damage to one corner near the edge. Ex. A. Lincoln Sherk II, MD. (1896-1970) |
