Description: | White slab of hackmanite in nepheline-syenite. Normally the minerals are white, but after exposure to UV illumination the hackmanite turns purple, then turns white again in daylight. Fluoresces orange under LW UV illumination. Ex. A. Lincoln Sherk II, MD. (1896-1970) |
