Locality:Tilly Foster Iron Mine, near Brewster, Putnam County, New York
Description:Dark green crystal of clinochlore up to 6 mm with red chondrodite crystals up to 1 mm. The matrix consists of massive chondrodite and clinochlore, but no void allowed for crystal development. From the classic mine, closed in 1897. Ex. A. Lincoln Sherk II, MD. (1896-1970)
