Locality:Lime Crest Quarry (Limecrest), Sussex Mills, 4.5 km northwest of Sparta, Sussex County, New Jersey
Description:Black octahedral spinel crystals up to 7 mm frozen in white marble matrix with orange-brown chondrodite. The spinel crystals are complete and well formed, but are exposed only on partially (could be exposed more). Ex. A. Lincoln Sherk II, MD. (1896-1970)
