Description: | Large rhombic calcite crystals up to 4 cm on matrix coated with minute quartz crystals, some with reddish limonite inclusions. Bill Barrett discovered this specimen at a house construction site, less than a mile from the Southbury trap rock quarry. ex. B. Jarnot, William (Bill) Barrett (1924-2018) |
