Description:Unusual slab of banded agate that was cut into strips, then each section dyed with different chemicals, and reassembled to show the results. The rear lists the types of dye used (in German). I believe Shaub used this as an illustration in a book. Ex. Ben Shaub; ex. Idar Oberstein
