Mineral:Calcite and Aragonite Stalactite
Locality:(Kentucky)
Description:Large stalactite of golden aragonite and calcite obtained in 1936 and originally dating to around 1890. Most likely this was one of the many specimens collected in Mammoth Cave before it was turned into a park. Ex. A. Lincoln Sherk II, MD. (1896-1970)
