Locality:Shigar Valley, Skardu District, Baltistan, Gilgit-Baltistan, Pakistan
Description:Large crystal of dark red spessartine garnet in white albite matrix. The spessartine crystal is sharp and lustrous with small concave depression on the rear face where it intersected an adjacent crystal. Sits upright nicely without support.
