Mineral:Barite over Quartz
Locality:near Warm Springs, Nye County, Nevada
Description:Quartz matrix with many smaller crystals in the foreground with a larger quartz crystal 4 cm long standing upright. Overgrown around the large quartz crystal is a rhombic barite crystal 5 cm high. The specimen was repaired skillfully (invisible).
