Locality:Apache Mine (Vanadium Shaft), 8 km north of Globe, Gila County, Arizona
Description:Blood-red crystal of vanadinite up to 5 mm overgrown on .5 mm black-brown mottramite crystals. The largest vanadinite crystals show hoppered growth. Collected in 1963 by the author of an article on the mine in Rocks and Minerals in 1970. Ex. Dr. Eugene E. Sensel (1911-2000) collection #G874; ex. Bob Jones in 1970
