Mineral:Copper with Cuprite, Azurite and Malachite
Locality:Zacatecas, Mexico
Description:Solid core of native (natural) copper in white quartz matrix. Scattered throughout are crystals of blue azurite, green malachite and ruby cuprite. The matrix is in fragments held together by the copper core. Ex. Dr. Eugene E. Sensel (1911-2000) collection #BL142
