Locality:Mina Restauradora, Mantacilla District, Argentina
Description:Sparkling crystals of bright green dioptase covering one face of vuggy matrix. Vivid color and very clean. The bottom is sawn flat to remove excess matrix. Label indicates it was mined during the 1790-1820 period. Ex. Dr. Eugene E. Sensel (1911-2000) collection #M711; ex. Obodda
