Locality:Iron Mountain, Iron Springs District, Iron County, Utah
Description:Lustrous octahedral crystals of metallic magnetite, partially altered to hematite pseudomorphs after magnetite, also known as Martite. The specimen still attracts a magnet indicating substantial magnetite remains.
