Locality:Boothwyn, Upper Chichester Township, Delaware County, Pennsylvania
Description:Large dodecahedral crystal of red-brown garnet perched on the edge of quartz and albite pegmatite. The almandine crystal has been restored to position, no glue is visible. Good specimen with well developed crystal form. Back side is incomplete. Ex. Jay Lininger (1939-2004); auction lot 881, item no. 00833
