Description: | Lustrous crystals of gray smoky quartz up to 20 mm with rosettes of black hematite crystals up to 4 mm and scattered calcite microcrystals. Clean specimen with no apparent damage. A partial fracture was stabilized years ago with glue to prevent breakage. Ex. John Durkos collection #278 |
