Mineral:Fluorite on Sphalerite
Locality:Elmwood Mine, Carthage, Smith County, Tennessee
Description:Translucent purple fluorite crystals up to 22 mm perched on massive fluorite matrix coated with translucent red-brown sphalerite crystals up to 10 mm. The sphalerite is exceptionally transparent. Some areas have chalcopyrite microcrystals.
