Mineral:Quartz var. Amethyst with Hematite inclusions
Locality:Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil
Description:Large plate of purple amethyst crystals up to 18 mm. Some crystals are milky, others are transparent with golden inclusions of hematite crystals visible. There are three casts where calcite crystals had formed, now naturally dissolved away.
Overall Size:16x13x6 cm
Crystals:5-18 mm
