Mineral:Fluorite and Barite on Sphalerite
Locality:Elmwood Mine, Carthage, Smith County, Tennessee
Description:Heavy mass of solid sphalerite (really heavy!) with a large cubic purple fluorite crystals to 5 cm and spherical aggregates of yellowish barite up to 3 cm diameter. There is a single, tabular crystal of colorless barite (rare crystal habit) 4.5 cm long.
Overall Size:22x18x14 cm
