Locality:Moat Mountain, Hale's Location, Carroll County, New Hampshire
Description:Tan-colored microcline crystals up to 25 mm mixed with dark smoky quartz crystals up to 20 mm. The quartz has lace-like surface coating of albite. This is typical of the miarolitic cavities at this location (similar mineralogy to Pike's Peak batholith). Old collection #947
