Description:Classic specimen of dark uranpyrochlore in brown feldspar matrix. When first found it was thought to be a new species Ellsworthite, but in 1961 the mineral species was identified as uranpyrochlore. Radioactive. Old collection #590; ex. A.M.N.H.
