Locality:near Ticonderoga, Essex County, New York
Description:Green-gray terminated crystals of augite up to 5 cm long that were exposed by dissolving the surrounding white calcite matrix. Shiny hexagonal graphite crystals up to 4 mm are scattered throughout. Aesthetically challenged, historic value only. Old collection #2625; ex. Elmer Rowley
