Locality:Strickland Quarry, Collins Hill, Portland, Middlesex County, Connecticut
Description:Pink-beige montmorillonite scattered between muscovite mica crystals on a thick formation of bluish albite, variety cleavelandite. The montmorillonite is the alteration product of lithium spodumene. This locality is now a golf course and closed forever. Old collection #3280
