Description:Heavy specimen of uranium and vanadium ore with blue-black corvusite, black coffinite and metallic yellow pyrite from the mineralized belt in western Colorado. Even the name of the nearby town Uravan is derived from URAnium and VANadium. Radioactive. Old collection #3028; ex. Brian Mason (A.M.N.H. curator)
