Locality:Nuristan Province, Afghanistan
Description:Huge translucent yellow doubly-terminated spodumene crystal with no matrix. The top termination has a remnants of pocket clay in crevices. Internally one-third of the crystal is gem-grade flawless, the rest has wispy inclusions. Minor damage in areas.
