Mineral:Siderite and Sphalerite
Locality:Eagle Mine, Gilman District, Eagle County, Colorado
Description:Flattened rhombic crystals of translucent, brown siderite with partial overgrowth of black sphalerite, variety marmatite. The sphalerite is highly lustrous and looks beautiful under magnification. Minor damage on one edge.
Overall Size:8x5x2.5 cm
Crystals:1-8 mm
