Locality:Panasqueira Mine, Barroca Grande, 21 km. west of Fundao, Castelo Branco, Portugal
Description:Aesthetic specimen of single crystal of gray apatite 20 mm across perched on one corner of a water-clear quartz crystal 37 mm high. The apatite has scattered overgrowth of pyrite microcrystals. Edge nicks are visible under magnification.
