Locality:Weardale, County Durham, England
Description:Many water-clear crystals of purple fluorite covering one face of matrix. The fluorite crystals are cubic form and many show interpenetrant twinning (hard to see without magnification because the crystals are clear.) Fluoresces violet under UV.
