Mineral:Calcite var. Manganoan Stalactite
Locality:Sovietskiy Mine, Dalnegorsk, Primorskiy Kray, Russia
Description:Stalactitic formation of flattened rhombohedral crystals of pink calcite in parallel orientation resembling stacked plates. The crystals are lustrous and undamaged. The pink color is due to manganese impurities in the calcite.
Overall Size:13x4x3 cm
