Description:Superb specimen of acicular white artinite crystals to 5 mm and white hydromagnesite crystals to 3 mm on green serpentine found during construction of a sewer line on Spring Street in Staten Island. The artinite and hydromagnesite fluoresce under UV. Ex. Hal Kramer collection. Collected ca. 1972. Illustrated in The Minerals of New York City (2009) Rocks & Minerals, vol. 84 # 3, pp. 204-240
