Description: | Sparkling crystals of pink smithsonite covering two faces of matrix with minor smithsonite on the rear. The smithsonite pink color is due to cobalt impurities. Upper right corner is slightly bruised. Sensel acquired the specimen in 1974 from David New. Ex. Dr. Eugene E. Sensel (1911-2000) collection #BL415 |
