Locality:700' level, Sta.167, Queens Tunnel of NYC Water Tunnel #3, Woodside, Queens, New York City, Queens County, New York
Description:Translucent beige-brown bladed stilbite crystals to 6 mm with translucent white calcite crystals to 3 mm and yellow-metallic pyrite microcrystals in hemispherical aggregates to 4 mm diameter. The cap in the upper right is entirely calcite crystals. Collected in 1998 by Charles Merguerian, project geologist. Illustrated in The Minerals of New York City (2009) Rocks & Minerals, vol. 84 # 3, pp. 204-240
