Mineral:	Quartz var. Ametrine (with rare pinacoid face)
Locality:	Anahi Mine, La Gaiba District, Angel Sandoval Province, Santa Cruz Department, Bolivia
Description:	Single crystal of ametrine quartz (internally color zoned with yellow citrine and purple amethyst) with complex crystallization patterns on the sides. Most unusual is the uncommon basal pinacoid (c-axis) face that is seldom found in quartz. Minor damage.
