Mineral:Quartz var. Agate pseudomorphs after Coral (Tampa Bay Coral)
Locality:Ballast Point, Tampa Bay, Hillsborough County, Florida
Description:Hollow formation of petrified coral (fossil coral that was replaced by quartz chalcedony) typically known as Tampa Bay Coral. The quartz is thin and translucent with white-gray. The exterior shows the coral detail clearly.
