Description: | Vein formation of dark metallic acanthite in quartz matrix. The crystals formed as argentite (stable >173° C) and alters to acanthite <173° C. One face polished by Jack Rorer in the Petrology Lab while a student at the University of Virginia in 1951 Ex. John A. Rorer, Jr. collection #037; Ex.
