Locality:Saint Gottard, Ticino, Switzerland
Description:Large crystal of medium smoky quartz with surface inclusions of green chlorite on the termination faces. When viewed through the side faces the interior is seen to be nearly flawless. A great specimen collected ca. 1860-70. Ex. John A. Rorer, Jr. collection #274; Obtained by Dr. Rorer while a profesor at the U. of London in 1952
