Description:Gray dolostone matrix with several solution cavities, one almost completely filled with a colorless Herkimer Diamond, a variety of quartz crystal found around Herkimer, New York. The crystal grew until it contacted the pocket walls on all sides. Ex. John A. Rorer, Jr. collection #293
