Mineral:Diamond (0.81 carat macle, twinned crystal)
Locality:Vaal River Mining District, Northern Cape Province, South Africa
Description:Triangular crystal of transparent, colorless natural diamond. Macles are twinned following the Spinel-law on the {111} plane. The crystal edges show complex striations all around. Internally the crystal is flawless with only a small inclusion.
