Description: | Several platy gray-metallic ilmenite crystals to 30 mm in limonite-stained quartz. Several small cavities in the quartz have complete free-standing ilmenite crystals to 2.5 mm. From a well documented occurrence that had crystals as large as 50 mm. Ex. George Maslachenko collection ca. 1965. Collected ca. 1890 |
